A Texas-Sized Adventure
We teamed up with the amazing Madisen Skinner, a University of Texas volleyball star, and the iconic UT Longhorn Band to bring our vision to life. The concept was simple: Madisen would interact with different HEB products while being followed around by the band, who would break out into the fight song every time.
Behind the Scenes
Scheduling Madness: With Madisen's busy schedule and the band's availability, we had to pull off a logistical miracle. We planned every minute of the shootday. We edited animatics with digital look alikes and 3d scanned locations to get the whole creative team on aligned before the shoot.
Location Scouting Adventures: The University of Texas campus is huge, so we had to scout out the perfect spots to capture the Longhorn spirit. We were able to feature iconic Tower and the bustling student center, we found locations that perfectly complemented the tone of the spots.
The Madisen Magic: Madisen was a natural in front of the camera. Her charisma and love for Texas shone through in every scene. Working with her was like a breath of fresh air.
The Final Product
The commercial turned out wonderfully. We are so proud! We love HEB and their wholesome and silly brand style. We're confident that it's resonating with audiences and making people want to run to their nearest HEB store.
Lessons Learned
Plan Ahead: Even with the best-laid plans, things can still go sideways. Be prepared for anything and have a backup plan ready.
Embrace the Local Flavor: Incorporating elements that are unique to your region can make your commercial more relatable and memorable.
Have Fun: The most successful commercials are the ones that make people smile. Don't be afraid to let your personality shine through.
Overall, this project was a Texas-sized adventure filled with laughter, teamwork, and a whole lot of HEB love.
