2 DAY SHOOT | PRODUCTION

Agency: Rickhouse Media

Production Company: CamLock Films

Creative Director: Megan Carroll

Executive Producer: Morgan Bond

DP: Nickolas Grisham

Food Stylist: Jill Price

Another shoot for GrubHub, another orange studio set! In case you haven’t noticed, Nick is a big fan of orange world. He would probably live there if he could. We shot 6 different spots over the course of 2 days in Aduro Studios on our Amira and Fujinon 19-90mm lens.

This shoot was unique in its funky food items (it’s not every day that you see a house made of hash browns.) It was also the first time we had Jill Price, who is usually Kristina’s assistant, take the lead in food styling. The hash brown house was a fan favorite however, it posed its own challenges when it showed up a little too much on the holiday side and needed some style updates the day of the shoot. Morgan even jumped in to lend a hand and the final product, complete with Jill’s adorable hash brown men, was complete and camera ready. We’re pretty proud of all of the little details that went into making that house what it was!

While the hash brown house stole the hearts of many in the food department, the set causing the most buzz was a Mission Impossible style wonton robbery. We featured plenty of haze, lasers, and a custom made plexiglass box with a circular hole cut out. Needless to say, the Mission Impossible theme song was in our heads for the rest of the week.
