Grubhub | “Go for Grubhub”

2 DAY SHOOT | PRODUCTION & POST-PRODUCTION

Agency: Rickhouse Media

Production Company: CamLock Films

Creative Director: Megan Carroll

Executive Producer: Morgan Bond

DP: Nickolas Grisham

Food Stylist: Maite Aizpurua

We were happy to get back out on location for GrubHub and showcase one of our favorite things - lifestyle food. The campaign set out to re-engage diners and we accomplished this by focusing on trend-forward foods like mochi donuts and bagel sandwiches. The shoot was over the span of two days with two separate house locations. It was the dead of summer and, needless to say, cast and crew alike were melting. We were grateful to have previously purchased a portable A/C unit which we used to keep our actors cool in between takes. Luckily, we didn’t feature any ice cream. In fact, the foods that were featured look great with a little sweat and, Food Stylist, Maite handled the heat (and treats) like a true pro. It was our first time working with Matie and our expectations were exceeded!

If you follow us on Instagram, you may have seen our BTS Reel revealing the probe lens setup for the Birthday Party Mochi Donuts spot and know how cool it looked. What you maybe didn’t know was that Morgan makes a cameo! If you watch the birthday spot closely, you can spy her dark-colored manicure tearing apart a donut and giving our lead actress a ‘cheers.’

If you think the probe lens setup was sweet, take a look at this camera rig Nick built over the bathtub for the Self Care Pizza spot:
